St. Sarkis Armenian Church – Charlotte, NC
St. Sarkis Armenian Church wanted to construct a new facility incorporating historical design and space plans that would provide timeless detail and functionality. It was essential to the congregation that all finishes replicate and reflect the church’s rich cultural past and still have the flexibility and efficiency of a contemporary building.
- Converted public alley to pedestrian plaza
- Converted former garage attached to church to two full-service men/women’s restrooms
KIRCO MANIX began site work and construction on the new sanctuary, kitchen, family life center, as well as supporting office space in 2005. An open courtyard area for informal gatherings and multipurpose room were also part of this unique structure.
KIRCO MANIX was able to incorporate key historical details that were important to the Armenian congregation, while keeping the facility modernly functional.
