In honor of Veteran’s Day, KIRCO has established reserved “Veteran and Service Members Only” parking spaces across its commercial and retail portfolio.
“We at KIRCO are grateful to our veterans and service members who have sacrificed in so many ways,” said Matt Kiriluk, president of KIRCO. “Providing reserved parking is the least we can do to recognize and honor them.”
According to Kiriluk, parking signs have been installed at all KIRCO owned properties, including the company’s flagship location, the Columbia Center in Troy, Mich., where signs have been prominently placed near the main entrance to both towers.
“I fully support KIRCO’s efforts and I encourage other companies to do what they can to honor our veterans and military,” said State Representative Jason Wentworth, Chair of the Military and Vets Committee, Michigan House.
“As a veteran, I’m proud to work for a company that truly values those who have served in the U.S. armed forces,” said Keith Issac, maintenance technician for KIRCO. “Offering reserved parking spots on a daily bases can mean a lot to those military that visit our properties by not only recognizing their service, but also reminding all of us of the gratitude that should be shown.”
