KIRCO MANIX recently completed the construction of new $2.1 million, state-of-the-art athletic complex for Shrine High School in Royal Oak, Michigan. KIRCO MANIX constructed a new game and practice field, as well as grandstands, a press box, running track, long jump and shot put areas, and batting cage. The project established a new concession building with an associated seating plaza.
The renovated athletic complex features concussion safety pad and new artificial turf, which allows for expanded use of the field regardless of weather. Permanent lighting is also being installed to allow for evening use by Shrine’s title winning teams. New ornamental fencing and added landscape will enhance Shrine’s campus look as well. Other features include an underground stormwater retention system, a parking lot and access road, fencing and relocation of the existing scoreboard and flagpole.
