Divine Child Athletic Complex

KIRCO MANIX

KIRCO MANIX began preconstruction planning and budgeting for the Divine Child Alumni Athletic Complex in late 2014, helping transform a 1958-era grass field that had deteriorated over time and previously forced home games to be played offsite. A master schedule was developed to align construction with ongoing parish fundraising, with design completed in Q2 2016 and construction beginning in April 2016.

The project delivered a synthetic turf field, running track, bleachers, gateway entrance, and gathering spaces, later expanded to include field lighting, a plaza, and a press box through value engineering and additional fundraising. The completed complex seats 1,875 spectators and was finished in time for the August 2016 varsity football season, with future phases planned for locker rooms and concession facilities.

“Their integrity, kindness, generosity, and forthrightness make them a phenomenal company and helped our complex to be a beautiful place to come together.” — Rev. Jim Bilot, Pastor, Divine Child Parish

KIRCO MANIX
Kalamazoo Athletic Complex

Kalamazoo College’s Angell Field Athletic complex was remodeled by KIRCO MANIX in 2012. The project consisted of a new 25,000 square foot field house with a second-story alumni gathering area that connects to the upper level athletic fields. The remodel included new artificial turf football and soccer fields as well as new natural turf baseball and softball fields, and new grass practice fields for soccer and football.

The new plan provides for better circulation and improved access by installing new walkways throughout the complex. A new football press box was also constructed with new concession stands and restrooms. Individual press boxes were also built for soccer, softball, and baseball.

KIRCO MANIX
Divine Child Field House

KIRCO MANIX recently completed its fourth project for Divine Child Schools. The 5,100 square foot field support building includes locker rooms, a conference area, a play room, maintenance and storage space.
