Dave Hales

Dave Hales serves as Executive Vice President of Asset & Property Management at KIRCO, leading the asset and property management functions across the company’s portfolio of KIRCO-owned properties and those managed on behalf of third-party clients.

With more than 30 years of experience in real estate and property management, Dave brings extensive expertise in asset performance, property operations, leasing, strategic planning, and client relations. Prior to joining KIRCO, he spent nearly 20 years with St. John Health, where he oversaw property management operations for a two-million-square-foot portfolio and led real estate transactions, strategic space planning, facility development, and construction-related activities.

At KIRCO, Dave focuses on maximizing the financial and operational performance of each property while enhancing the experience of the people who occupy and visit them. He works closely with KIRCO’s property management teams to strengthen client relationships, support leasing activity, enhance physical environments, and position properties for long-term success. Dave also plays a leadership role in KIRCO’s healthcare real estate initiatives, bringing his extensive experience in the sector to the development and management of healthcare properties.

Dave earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Systems Management from Ferris State University and is involved with industry organizations including the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the International Facility Management Association (IFMA)
