A team of doctors wanted to invest and operate in a unique new medical office building whose design would stand out from the other buildings in the area. KIRCO and KIRCO MANIX teamed up with a talented architect, designed, and constructed the 40,000 square foot Tritium medical office building, more than satisfying the goals of the investing doctors.
Kirkwood Professional Plaza
KIRCO acquired this vacant 142,849-square-foot office building in 2011 and redeveloped it into a premier outpatient medical center anchored by Henry Ford Health System in Dearborn, Michigan. Henry Ford expanded its presence by occupying the entire third floor, adding 53,000 square feet and enhancing services including Internal Medicine, Behavioral Health, Pain Management, Speech Therapy, and Dermatology.
The Class A medical office building also houses OptimEyes, Ophthalmology, Pharmacy, Lab, Rehabilitation Services, Pediatrics, Radiology, and Women’s Health. Since its redevelopment, the property has earned multiple honors, including the Dearborn City Beautiful Award and the National HREI Insights Award.
