Alan founded KIRCO in the mid-1970s and has seen it develop into one of the Midwest’s leading real estate organizations. He began his career as a subcontractor in paving and road construction for his father’s business; later he expanded the business to include office construction and corporate build-to-suit projects. Alan and his work have received numerous awards and accolades over the course of time; most recently, Alan was selected as a 2019 “Detroit 500” Powerful Business Leader by DBusiness Magazine.
Today, KIRCO provides, “the single-source solution for real estate assets,” delivering prime development, construction, and property management services with an “ownership mentality.” Alan believes this to be more than a marketing slogan, but describes it as the “single characteristic that sets KIRCO apart from our competition. Our decades of experience building for KIRCO, the owner, have given great insight on product development and construction that we maintain set us apart.”
Alan is an avid sports enthusiast with hobbies that include snowmobiling, fast cars, and relaxing weekends with his grandchildren in Northern Michigan.
